If you are interested in giving your Newfoundland the opportunity to learn Water Work in a safe environment, the place to be during the summer months is Lake Rua, Roto Kohatu Recreation Reserve, off Sawyers Arms Road, Christchurch. The Society holds formal training days, future dates can be obtained from our "Events Dates" page or from the Club Secretary.
You will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations of Newfoundland Water Work – pulling a boat, retrieving people and objects.
All dogs are given the opportunity for individual coaching and everyone has a chance to work their dog.
