By becoming a member of the Southern Newfoundland Society you can benefit from a regular newsletter produced by the club. The newsletter called ‘Newfpost’ informs members of upcoming events and provides articles of interest to Newfoundland owners. Members are encouraged to send in pictures and articles about their own Newfoundlands.
Being a member gives you and your dog the opportunity to participate in fun club events like carting, water training, Newfoundland Olympic games, Championship Shows and ribbon events. You will also have access to the huge number of Newfoundland books and video tapes held within the clubs library.
The Club also encourages members to simply get together for leisurely walks, picnics, Christmas parades and fundraising events.
The cost to join the society is NZ$25/year (single), NZ$30/year (double), for membership within New Zealand.
Membership is also welcome from outside New Zealand although an additional postal fee will be discussed with prospective members at the time.
